So later in the evening I smoked some leaves from a cannabis plant along with some wild sage in a joint. When I went to go to sleep I felt very lucid and dreamy feeling. I would close my eyes and I could see the most beautiful paintings in my mind. The painting were alive. The energy coming off of them were amazing. One of the paintings started to move. Suddenly I felt like I had astral traveled to a real location where there was a house on fire and a man with a huge afro. As he walked away from the fire I could feel and see his afro blowing in the breeze. It was almost as if I was being given ideas for paintings. I will try and translate that experience in a series of drawings soon. So stay tuned in for that.
I then had a dream about my son. He was sitting in cross legged position on the living room floor. I knew that he was meditating. I came over to him and corrected his finger positioning. Telling him to let his middle finger and thumb touch together. I explained how that is how those who practice Hinduism meditate.
I literally did feel like I went on a psychedelic trip with the wild sage. I know that it was not the cannabis leaves because they were not that strong.
I wouldn't suggest smoking wild sage if you have a busy day planned. Because this morning I still felt the like it was in my system a bit. Upon waking I felt very dreamy. Oh, and by the way I only used a small leaf of it crumbled up. So a little amount went a long way with me. Although I am very sensitive.
I truly believe that the plant out in Mother Earth are here to help you. You just have to find the ones that are specific to your body, mind and soul.
