So last night before going to sleep I burned some sage that my husband brought home from the river. It smelled a lot more fragrant than our culinary sage that we grow in our backyard. I meditated on what I would like to have a dream about.
When I lay down to sleep I had the most peculiar dream. The dream took place outdoors at what looked like a park. I was sitting in a picnic chair and my sister Desiree was braiding my hair in cornrows. The I went to feel which way she was braiding my hair. The cornrows were going in an upward direction like how I use to cornrow my own hair when I first decided to do my own hair when I was a little girl.
I looked at a tree and saw it was slowly getting covered with huge locusts. The locusts were the size of a huge crow. I am going to attempt to draw this dream .
I felt every nuance and essence of this dream as if it was the waking world. I do believe that the dream world and the waking world are connected. I can remember as a child thinking about what happens when I fall asleep to my body and my soul. Pretty deep thoughts for a 5yr. old huh.
Thank you all who have been following my blog here. Please do share it with your friends and family if you think that they would be finding this sort of info about the dream world to be fascinating. Herbs can affect how you feel and see the world most definitely!
