So if you are following along so far on my mugwort and dreaming adventure then you will know that at about 3am yesterday I drank a cup of mugwort tea before going to sleep. After I drank this tea I felt very drowsy and numb like my fingers couldn't type on the keyboard. Right before I laid my head down to rest I lit a candle on my altar. I ask the mugwort to please assist me in having a lucid dream that can help me with a specific situation in my life. Dealing with some financial matters.
I also had the intuition to burn a piece of dried clove. It was a pleasant warm smell. I got into bed and as I laid my head on my pillow my head felt a lot of pressure in it. I figured that feeling would subside and indeed it did. I felt a bit restless but I think it was because I was a bit irritable before going to bed. I remind you that I am on my moontime and I can get very moody during this period of losing blood. Once I fell asleep I felt active in my dreams. The only things that I can recall from my dreams is a very colorful tennis shoe underneath a chair in nature. It looked like Van Gogh painted it. There was so many layers of vibrant colors on the shoe. It kind of reminded me of the movie I saw a long time ago with Robin Williams in it called What Dreams May Come. The vibrancy of that shoe was very mesmerizing.
The other thing I can remember was hearing the mention of a herb called Hawthorn. I don't know if it is indeed an herb this Hawthorn but once I find out I will tell you.
Tonight I plan on smoking the mugwort instead of drinking the tea. Although I did find the tea quite pleasant until I got to the bottom of the cup.
